Toshiba recalls thousands of Sony-made laptop batteries

  • Tokyo (Japan) – Here we go again, Toshiba is recalling up to 10,000 laptop batteries made by Sony.  The lithium-ion batteries were manufactured in December 2005 and are currently being used in 10 Toshiba laptop models including the Dynabook, Satellite and Tecra.

    Toshiba says the batteries have caused three incidents of fire and overheating.
