Nokia and Motorola say fake batteries could explode
Beijing (China) – Nokia and Motorola are telling Chinese government officials that fake mobile phone batteries could explode. The companies are provide the government real batteries after a 22-year-old Chinese man died when his mobile phone exploded. The explosion shattered his ribbed and pierced his heart.
The companies say up to 10 million fake phone batteries are produced each year in China.
