Taipei TAIWAN – At this year’s Computex convention in Taipei, Super Talent showed off some very big 64 GB solid state drives. The drives were in 2.5 and 3.5-inch form factors and used a SATA interface. Company reps also showed us a very interesting USB stick that connects directly to the motherboard.
These sticks connect via the motherboard’s USB pin header and add 2 or 4 GB of extra memory for Windows Vista’s Ready Boost technology. Seems like a pretty nifty way of freeing up an outside USB slot (even though you are giving up some slots by taking the header).
