Microsoft releases patch for Vista

  • Redmond (WA) – Microsoft has issued a bugfix for the recently released Windows Vista, which resolves a problem with the network adapter component.

    According to Microsoft, the KB929451 update prevents a network adapter to register invalid IP addresses into a DNS server when an adapter’s GUID is changed.
     
    The update is provided free of charge and is available to users whose operating system has passed Microsoft’s online validation test.
