New Half-life games to come bundled as Black Box, Orange Box
Redwood City (CA) - Game publisher EA and developer Valve today said that the new installment to the PC hit Half-Life is going to available in two different bundles - a basic versions for the PC, and a premium bundle that will also be available for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
The Black Box will be released this fall, and will include Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal, and Team Fortress 2 for the PC. The Orange Box, also set for a fall debut, will be available on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, and will contain the original Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, and all the contents of The Black Box.
Half-Life 2: Episode Two is the second part of the Half-Life 2 trilogy, and a continuation to the massive story and world originally created in Half-Life. Portal is a single-player adventure that focuses on letting the player interact with the environment, and Team Fortress 2 is a Source-based multiplayer action game that Valve says "features the most advanced graphics" on any Source game to date.
