Corsair announces mega 16 GB USB flash drive
It's going to take people a long time to fill up Corsair's new USB flash drive. The water-resistant Flash Voyager drive has been upgraded and now can carry up to 16 GB of data. Users can even store a full Windows operating system and boot off the drive.
Corsair says the drive can sustain read speeds of 22MB/sec and write at 7MB/sec. 8-bit error correction code is included with the drive. Users can create an encrypted partition on the drive and then password protect it with 256-AES encryption.
The Flash Voyager is currently available for about $300. It comes with a lanyard, driver CD and a USB extension cable.
