Intel looks to attract leading notebook vendors for CBB initiative

  • Next year, the notebook market may see products based on Intel's Common Building Block (CBB) initiative introduced by leading brands, according to sources. Intel expects to attract the world's leading notebook vendors as it pushes its CBB initiative, which aims to standardize notebook components and shorten time-to-market, in an attempt to accelerate component standardization within the notebook market, the sources indicated.
