GE to roll out Skype phone

  • GE joins the growing list of companies that are offering Skype functionality in the package of a regular cordless phone. The GE 28300EE2 is based Thomson's DECT 6.0 model, which promises to deliver interference-free call quality. GE will be making the system available as a 2-phone, with the possibility to add four more devices. The 28300EE2 will surface sometime this fall for a suggested retail price of $150.
