D-Link ships flip-style Wi-Fi phone

  • D-Link today introduced its flip-style Wi-Fi Phone, which can be used for VoIP-based voice calls.

    The device comes in a compact clamshell design that weighs less than four ounces; features include storage space for up to 100 address book entries, caller ID and polyphonic ring tones as well as support for redial, mute, hold and text messaging. According to D-Link, the phone provides about three hours of talk time and 70 hours of standby time on a single charge of the Li-Ion battery.

    The phone is available in black (model DPH-540) or silver (DPH-541) and is priced at about $250.
