We at TG are very excited that Christopher Nolan, the man who reinvented Batman, will be making a sci-fi movie next, Interstellar, which is slated for release next November.
While The Dark Knight Rises may not have been the great climax to the Batman series we may have hoped for, it was still a good ride for sure. While Bane didn’t totally deliver as the villain, one of the biggest surprises in the film was Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, and she did a terrific job in the role.
I can still remember when Matthew McConaughey first broke through big in 1996 with A Time to Kill, although he also got a lot of good notices for Dazed and Confused.
Last July, the Christopher Nolan / Christian Bale Batman films finally came full circle with The Dark Knight Rises. Although Nolan is producing Man of Steel, and he may also produce Justice League, he swears he’s never going back to Batman.
When I first heard the director of Memento was taking on Batman years ago, I thought it was a great choice because he already proved he wasn’t a one hit wonder with Insomnia.
