A lot of movie stars make the cover of Vanity Fair and are hailed as the next big thing, and a lot of them disappear off the face of the earth shortly thereafter. You figured that’s what would happen with Matthew McConaughey, but he’s currently Hollywood’s latest comeback kid, and he could win an Oscar for The Dallas Buyers Club. Next up will be Interstellar, and there’s high hopes for it.
We just reported on TGD that Paramount and The Weinstein Company have stopped making movie prints. This has been a long time coming, and theaters have to convert to digital or get left behind. There are, of course, directors that will continue to work on film, and Christopher Nolan is one of them.
In less than a year, there will be a new Christopher Nolan movie in theaters, Interstellar. This is Nolan’s first foray into science fiction, and the trailer doesn’t reveal much because the movie’s still being filmed, but it certainly gives the viewer enough to whet their appetites.
For us geeks, we not only anticipate movies with great fervor, but we also can’t wait for the trailers either. It’s great to finally see scenes from movies we can’t wait for, and there may be two great trailers playing before The Hobbit when it comes out next week.

While The Dark Knight Rises may not have been the great climax to the Batman series we may have hoped for, it was still a good ride for sure. While Bane didn’t totally deliver as the villain, one of the biggest surprises in the film was Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, and she did a terrific job in the role.
