A federal judge has unceremoniously dismissed all remaining claims that Sony reneged on its promise to allow Playstation 3 video game consoles to function as full-fledged computers.
Sony's released what it calls a 'minor' update for the PS3 - minor, that is, for anyone who hasn't been tempted by either of the two jailbreaks that have been doing the rounds over the last couple of weeks.
Many gamers were disappointed when Sony remotely deactivated the PS3's ability to run Linux or another operating system...but what happens when the US Air Force was using that feature for important computing processes?
