Software giant Microsoft is under attack again – this time by a Spanish group of open source users who have bitterly complained about the Redmond company to the European Commission.
Investigators at the headquarters of the European Union (EU) in Brussels, Belgium, are looking into allegations that Apple’s terms and conditions to sell its iPhone in Europe breach anticompetitive rules.
Three European-based Web sites have filed formal complaints to the European Commission, alleging antitrust concerns. The claims include assertions that Google systematically lowers search index values of companies with competing interests to Google.
