The Video Game Violence Debate Continues

Video games are known for violence, we all know that. You shoot things, you blow things up, you rampage and go crazy from the comfort of your console, and nobody’s really getting hurt. In fact, I’ve always felt it’s better to get your aggressions out in a game, instead of  actually hurting somebody.

Is Call of Duty In Trouble?

Right now, video games are still hot stuff in the marketplace, but it’s a very mercurial market that can go in whatever direction the wind is blowing. We’ve already seen the market being impacted by the upcoming console changes, and now one report feels that the Call of Duty games could already be done, at least artistically.

Call of Duty Ghosts Ready To Rule the Fall

While the video game market has endured a lot of ups and downs, it had a remarkable late inning victory last year with the phenomenal success of Call of Duty: Black Ops, and the latest installment of Halo. Now estimates tell us the next installment of Call of Duty, Ghosts, will be the biggest video game of the Fall.

Activision Blizzard kicked-off E3 early this year with a live telecast showcasing a first look at new gameplay from the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts.
