There is a new iPhone and iPod touch application that enables users to get an overview of companies and products exhibited at Macworld in January.
The software organizes Macworld exhibitor information by name, hall and aisle number and allows users to browse exhibited products by name, category and exhibitor. The application pulls data from a server and stores it on the device, meaning that there is no permanent connection to the Internet via Wi-Fi or cellular network required, although online connectivity is recommended in order to get the latest show updates.
Paul Kent, vice president of IDG World Expo, announced on his Twitter page that a number of enhancements are in the pipeline scheduled to roll out within days, like a show map and a calendar of the conference sessions, in addition to a conference guide.
