San Diego (CA) - With the DivX 6.7 release comes enhanced 1080p HD video encoding options.  Improving upon the 6.6 release with enhanced algorithms for low-light noise and graininess, the 6.7 codec is also optimized for both Intel and AMD64 architectures.  The player now comes with DFX Audio enhancements which could make for a better audio portion of the multi-media experience.

On a side-note, at Fall IDF 2007 we learned DivX has included support for Intel's upcoming Penryn architecture since version 6.6.  Read more on the DivX website.
