Firefox Next (version 3.6) will be based on the Gecko 1.9.2 layout engine that packs up to date support for the latest HTML5 and CSS 3 specification. Firefox 3.5 Beta (formerly 3.1) runs 1.9.1 version of the Gecko engine.
