WikiLeaks details Gitmo SNAFU

The whistle-blowing website known as WikiLeaks has released a slew of new documents about detainees imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay.

Although most of the prisoners currently incarcerated on the military base are classified as "high risk," one-third of the detainees moved to other countries or freed shared the same high risk category.

In addition, one detainee was recruited by British and Canadian intelligence to work as an agent, but he "never shifted his militant loyalties."

Unsurprisingly, the Obama administration criticized the release of the above-mentioned documents, with special envoy Daniel Fried emphasizing that the data was "obtained illegally" by WikiLeaks.

White House press secretary Jay Carney concurred with Fried's assessment and termed the publication of classified information by the New York Times an "unfortunate" decision.
