The Times said that Jim Gamble, who heads the UK Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre that parents stay in a state of technological ignorance and could do more to understand how to protect their children.

Gamble says that while many parents use the internet to book holidays or compare prices, they profess ignorance about the measures they could take to shield children online.
