Sprint Nextel on Sunday will start selling the first modem compatible with third- and fourth-generation networks, the company said Wednesday. In November , the Overland Park-based wireless carrier (NYSE: S) joined its fourth-generation WiMAX unit, formerly branded Xohm, with that of Clearwire.
