Apple tablet delayed. The rumors continue PR drip
You'd almost think Apple was dropping rumors into cyberspace deliberately, wouldn't you?
The latest rumors about the tablet PC that Apple has never actually said it will make are that it will be delayed from a March 2010 launch to a launch in the fall.
Digitimes seems pretty certain that there will be two tablet PC models - one with a 9.7-inch OLED screen and the other using a 10.6-inch TFT LCD panel.
Leaky sources tell the Taiwanese wire that Foxconn, Quanta and Pegatron will build these machines and the report even reckons that the OLED unit will cost between $1,500 and $1,700.
For a machine that allegedly doesn't yet exist, there sure does seem to be a lot of information about them, here.
