Taipei TAIWAN – Regular DC to AC power converters normally output 100 to 300 watts, but at this year's Computex convention in Taipei the folks at Linkchamp showed us one that can output 4000 to 5000 watts. Meant to be used on boats and motor homes, the unit sports a temperature gauge and load meters, along with two power plugs.
The company also sells converters that approximate the size and shape of a soft drink can. This allows people to pop it in an average car’s cup holder. Company reps also had another converter with a built-in USB charging port.
