Google brings calendar app to mobile

  • Mountain View (CA) - Google, one of the first search engines to provide a specific mobile site, has now optimized its Google Calendar application for cell phones.

The mobile version of Google Calendar is a simplified day-by-day view of previously scheduled events.  It also has an option to add new events via a "quick add" text bar always available at the bottom of the page.

Mobile phone users just need to enter the calendar.google.com URL in their cell phone browser and it will automatically redirect to the newly formatted version of the site.
