$25,000 awarded to national texting champion
Manhattan (NY) - 13-year-old Morgan Pozgar texted her way to the bank, pocketing the $25,000 grand prize in LG's national text messaging contest. The clincher was her ability to type the word "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" into her cell phone in 15 seconds.
Pozgar initially won the East coast competition and then went head to head against the winner from the West coast, 21-year-old Eli Tirosh.
"I'm going to go shopping and buy lots of clothes," said the teen to the Associated Press. She says she sends more than 8000 text messages a month to friends and family.
