Asus is reportedly prepping a new 10-inch Android tablet featuring Intel's 64-bit Bay Trail SoC (Z3745) and a detachable keyboard dock.
Additional Asus Transformer Pad TF103C specs include:
- Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean)
- 1GB RAM
- 16GB storage
- microSDHC card slot for up to 64GB of removable storage
- 16GB of Asus WebStorage
- 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0
- One USB USB 2.0 port
- 5060mAh battery
As Liliputing's Brad Linder notes, the Transformer Pad TF103C is basically a portable Android notebook that measures 1.2 inches thick and weighs 2.4 pounds.
"While the tablet features one of Intel’s newest Bay Trail chips, the rest of the specs make it pretty clear that this is a mid-range tablet rather than a high-end device," Linder explained.
"That seems to be in keeping with Intel’s strategy of making its new low-power tablet chips competitive with the ARM-based processors currently used in most Android phones and tablets.
