Fujitsu debuts Lifebook TH90/P convertible ultrabook

Fujitsu has debuted a hybrid ultra book designed to function as both a high-end notebook and tablet with support for support finger or digital pen input (1024 levels of pressure sensitivity).

The Lifebook TH90/P is equipped with a 13.3 inch high-resolution display that can be rotated and folded down over the keyboard.

The device is also loaded with an Core i5-4200U Intel Haswell processor, 2560 x 1440 pixel IGZO display, 8GB of RAM a 500GB hybrid hard drive and up to 12.5 hours of battery life.

Fujitsu’s Lifebook TH90/P is slated to hit streets in Japan for around $2000 in Japan.

However, as Liliputing’s Brad Linder notes, Fujitsu laptops don’t exactly come cheap – and notebooks are generally more expensive in Japan than in the US.

“Despite the high price, the Fujitsu convertible has a few things going for it [in terms of specs],” Linder explained.

“Fujitsu calls it a 4-mode device since you can use it as a tablet, PC, or fold the screen so it faces away from the computer in ‘theater position.'”
