As Liliputing's Brad Linder notes, even the lower-tier Intel chips should pack more punch than a similarly-sized tablet with an Intel Atom processor. The downside? Reduced battery life, compared to an Atom SoC and RISC-based ARM chips.

Now for a closer look at the keyboard dock, which boasts a full-sized backlit keyboard, a touchpad, and USB, VGA, HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet ports. As expected, the tablet is also equipped with WiFi, USB 3, Bluetooth and a microSD slot.

And last, but certainly not least, Toshiba is offering a number of optional components, include an integrated UMTS modem, active digitizer and Intel WiDi wireless display technology.

The Portege Z10t will be hitting the streets of Germany in the near future, and probably has a good chance of washing up on US shores sometime soon. Pricing has yet to be disclosed.
