HTC Droid DNA gets official

Verizon and HTC have finally rolled out the Droid DNA.

The tricked-out handset – which measures 9.73mm thick and weighs 4.86 ounces (138g) – is slated to hit physical and virtual store shelves on November 21st for a cool $199 with contract.

As expected, the latest Droid boasts some pretty sweet specs, including a 5-inch SLCD3 display with a 1920×1080 resolution (440 DPI), a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Additional features? Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean), an 8MP rear camera with a 8mm wide-angle lens, an 8-degree ultra wide-angle 2.1MP front-facing camera, Beats Audio, LTE, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0.

In other Android related news, Google’s Nexus 4 handset and Nexus 10 tablet went on sale today, only to sell out in minutes. No word yet on when Mountain View will re-stock for the frenzied Android masses, but we do hope it is ASAP.
