AT&T has confirmed that Samsung's LTE-enabled version of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will hit physical and virtual store shelves on November 9 for $499.

As we'vre previously reported on TG Daily, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1   is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Additional specs include a back 3-megapixel camera (for video), front VGA camera, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) and full DLNA support.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also boasts an integrated IR Blaster, enabling the device to be used as a universal smart remote - helping users easily find their favorite TV shows and control their TV, set-top box and other home theater equipment.

It should also be noted that the device is being offered via Sprint starting November 11 at a $550 off-contract price tag.  The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 can be activated on one of the carrier's new month-to-month tablet rate plans for Sprint 4G LTE-enabled tablets.

Starting at $14.99 for 300MB of 3G/4G LTE data, $34.99 for 3GB of data, $49.99 for 6GB of data and $79.99 for 12GB of data - Sprint’s new plans claim to offer 20% more data for the same price as AT&T at the $14.99 and $50 tablet rate plan.

In addition, Sprint smartphone customers can add Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to their account with a specially discounted rate plan that includes 1GB of data for $15 per month or as little as $10 per month for 100MB of data on the Sprint network.
