Minix NEOG G 4 is a $76 Android PC-on-a-stick

The Minix NEOG G 4 is a $76 Android PC-on-a-stick that has garnered uber-positive  reviews from the developer of Droidmote, an Android app which allows a phone or tablet to act as a remote control.

Essentially, the  Minix NEOG G4 doesn’t really differ all that much in terms of pure specs from the plethora of PCs-on-a-stick we’ve covered the past few months on TG Daily, including the UG802, MK802, Favi, Z2C and KimDecent.

Indeed, the Minix NEOG G4 is powered by a Rockchip RK3066 dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The device runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), although an upgrade to 4.1 (Jelly Bean) is reportedly in the works.

As Liliputing’s Brad Linder notes, the Minix NEOG G4 features HDMI and USB ports for connecting a monitor, TV, keyboard or mouse. Meaning, you can plug in a display and input device into the PC-on-a-stick and use it just like a low-power desktop computer.

Additional specs include integrated WiFi and a microSD card slot for additional storage. Interested? You can pick up the Minix NEOG G4 from DealExtreme for $76, with free shipping included.
