MSI showcases WindPad 100 tablet
MSI is currently showcasing its $500 WindPad 100 tablet at Computex 2010.
According to PC World, the 10-inch device features Windows 7, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom processor, 2GB of RAM, a 32GB SSD hard-drive, two USB ports, HDMI and webcam.
In addition, the WinPad 100 boasts a capacitive display capable of rendering 1024x600 pixels, along with a specially designed user interface dubbed “Win Touch UI."
The company also introduced a 10-inch Android-based tablet powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 SoC that is expected to debut at a $400 price point.
Both tablets include 802.11 b/g/n, 3G connectivity and an SD/SDHC card slot.
