Asustek is reportedly planning to unveil an Intel Atom-powered Windows 7 tablet at Computex 2010.
The company is also designing an ARM-based EEE Pad for Google's Android operating system.
According to DigiTimes, Asus CEO Jerry Shen recently confirmed that the 10-inch Wintel platform tablet will feature a no-fan, ultra-thin and light design.
"Market watchers believe the model will be showcased at Computex 2010 with both tablet PCs to be designed by Asustek and made by Pegatron Technology," wrote Monica Chen of DigiTimes.
"[And] market watchers expect Acer's Internet device will feature an ARM processor and Android operating system and will be outsourced for manufacturing to Compal Electronics."
