According to DigiTimes, Asus CEO Jerry Shen recently confirmed that the 10-inch Wintel platform tablet will feature a no-fan, ultra-thin and light design.

"Market watchers believe the model will be showcased at Computex 2010 with both tablet PCs to be designed by Asustek and made by Pegatron Technology," wrote Monica Chen of DigiTimes.

"[And] market watchers expect Acer's Internet device will feature an ARM processor and Android operating system and will be outsourced for manufacturing to Compal Electronics."

Meanwhile, Matthew DeCarlo of TechSpot noted that the Android-based tablet will likely boast an Nvidia Tegra SoC with "enough muscle" for 1080p playback, Adobe Flash support, a front-mounted camera, standard USB connectivity and 3G.
