Sony Ericsson has debuted the Xperia X10 Android phone. The device, previously codenamed "Rachel," is capable of automatically recognizing connections between contacts, content and media.
The X10 can identify up to five faces in any picture, while automatically linking the image to relevant e-mails and social feeds across the device. ?
In addition, a timescape "infinite button" allows users to aggregate all social interactions and correspondence with a specific individual into a single view.
The X10 also features a Mediascape application that helps users retrieve multimedia content from multiple sources, including YouTube, PlayNow as well as the phone itself.
The new Xperia is powered by an open UX platform that supports downloads from a number of app stores, such as PlayNow and the Android Market.
