Taipei (Taiwan) – Are you sick and tired of lugging around two mobile phones?  Well E-Ten Information Systems has the perfect solution for you with its Glofiish DX900 dual SIM card phone/PDA.  This nifty gadget is a PocketPC-based phone with built-in GPS, Wi-Fi, FM radio tuner, three megapixel camera and a 640 by 480 pixel screen.  If that isn’t enough, the DX900 works on both UMTS/HSDPA and GSM/EDGE systems.  The phone has impressed Computex officials so much that it has been awarded the Computex Choice Award.

At the Computex tradeshow today, a company rep took off the battery and showed us the two SIM card slots underneath.  She told us most people would put their regular phone SIM cards into the DX900 – this would give you a single device that could call/receive on two different phone numbers.  An E-Ten brochure adds that you could also be using the voice on one card and transferring data on the other card at the same time.

E-Ten also makes another Glofiish phone which streams digital television.  The V900 has a single SIM card, but is basically identical to the DX900 in most other respects.  This puppy can stream DVB-T/H and T-DMB/DAB in Asia and Europe.  The picture quality did look fairly decent, but some consumer may be put off with the unsightly extendable antenna protruding out the side.
