Mountain View (CA) - Google is expanding the mobile version of its popular video sharing site, allowing users to watch almost all of the clips available.
When a specialized mobile version of Youtube first launched in 2006, only a few thousand of the millions of videos were selected as viewable on portable handsets.
However, today that availability will multiply. Thanks to an expansion of the service, virtually all videos can run on the mobile Youtube application. Handsets must have 3G next-generation capabilities to access the site. More than 100 million such phones exist worldwide.
Users can access the tailored version of Youtube by pointing their mobile browsers to m.youtube.com.
