Nokia has its first Windows tablet, the Nokia Lumia 2520, with Windows RT 8.1

Stephen Elop, who was Nokia's CEO and is moving into a new executive role at Microsoft, admits that it was hard to choose Windows over Android. But, the Lumia 2520 is the first RT tablet not made by Microsoft. Let the games begin. 
 
The Lumia 2520 is 8.9 mm think and weighs a little over a pound. It has a high definition 1080p, 10.1-inch screen, made using Gorilla Glass 2 for toughness, and is 4G LTE and WiFi capable.
 
It's driven by the ubiquitous Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and the Lumia 2520’s battery is claimed to be able to play video for ten hours non-stop without a charge. Nokia also claims the battery can go from zero to 80% charge in an hour.

The 2520 also comes with a keyboard cum case, too. This keyboard contains an extra battery for up to five hours extra use, plus two USB ports, for whatever other accessories you wish to attach.
 
On the camera size, you get two new apps from Nokia – Storyteller and Video Director. The Lumia 2520 can be bought in red, cyan, white and black, and will initially be available for sale in the US, UK and Finland at an estimated price of $499.
