This tablet boasts a 13.3-inch screen

Displays on Android-powered tablets tend to max out at around 10.1-inches. So if you want something with a larger screen, there aren’t exactly a lot of choices out there.

To be sure, the only other tablets that I can think of at this moment with screens in the 13-inch range are the Archos FamilyPad and the Toshiba Excite 13.

Still, if you’re on the lookout for a tablet with a really big screen, you might want to check out a company called Kocaso which recently debuted the GX1400 with, yes, a whopping 13.3-inch display. True, the tablet isn’t exactly cheap with a retail price of $300, but it has certainly got a big-screen – if that’s what you are truly after.

The tablet is powered by a Rockchip RK3066 dual-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. Internal storage is set at 8 GB, while device runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Power is generated by a 10,000 mAh rechargeable battery which promises five hours of run time.

Of course, you undoubtedly give up some runtime to to support such a huge 13.3-inch screen with a resolution set at 1280 x 800. The tablet also features a three-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera, along with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a microSD card slot for storage expansion and a mini HDMI output.

The GX1400 measures 13-inches by 9-inches by 0.5-inches and weighs precisely 2.9 pounds. This puts it on par in size and heft with a lot of notebooks on the market today. You have to expect a larger and heavier device though, if you’re in the 13-inch tablet market. The tablet is currently available on eBay for about $300.
