Radxa Rock dev board with quad-core RK3188 has a $99 price tag
The Raxda Rock dev board, equipped with a quad-core RK3188 (ARM Cortex A9) chip, is currently available at a $99 price point.
Additional specs include 8GB of on-board NAND, a full-sized HDMI port, 10/100 Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi (a+ antenna), Bluetooth 4.0 support and an integrated microphone IR sensor.
"[However], it does come with some very nice standard features you won’t find on the U3," writes Mathews. "It even comes with its own translucent plastic case. Snap it in, screw on the antenna, supply 5V of power and you’re ready to rock."
The RK3188, which can be over clocked by approximately 20%, supports both Google's Android and Ubuntu Linux.
It should also be noted that a Radxa Rock with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage (sans Bluetooth) is available for $20 less.
