Video: Model car controlled by Raspberry Pi and WebSphere

It seems like every time we turn around there’s another incredibly cool project involving the uber-mini Raspberry Pi development board, like the retro gaming cabinet, Pi-to-Go, the Pi terminal and the Raspberry workstation.

The latest Raspberry Pi project to tip up? A remote controlled car, in which the radio receiver was swapped out in favor of Pi and PWM controller board. And yes, the Car boasts its very own WiFi network, thanks to a USB powered WiFi router plugged into the Raspberry Pi and attached the the underside of the chassis.

As noted in the title, the car can be controlled from any device using with a JavaScript capable web browser via WebSphere. Oh, and last but not least, the Liberty Profile server is running off the Raspberry Pi.
