This single-board computer is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip

Inforce has debuted a single-board computer powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 quad-core krait processor clocked at 1.7GHz.

The Pico-ITX SBC is also equipped with 2GB RAM, 4GB eMMC flash, HDMI out,  Ethernet and Wi-Fi.

Additionals specs include Bluetooth, 2x USB 2.0 and 1x USB OTG. As expected, the board is capable of running various flavors of Linux, as well as Google’s popular Android OS.

The IFC6410 – a production-ready board – is slated to ship in May for $149 (not including shipping costs).

As the folks at CNX Software note, with the cancellation of OPENBRIX Zero board, this is likely the cheapest “Cortex A15 class” board on the market.

“Even though technically speaking Krait is not Cortex A15, but the performance is about the same,” they explain. “And with 4 cores it will even more powerful than the Arndale board.”
