Zealz GK802 runs Android and Ubuntu Linux

The $100 Zealz GK802 is powered by an ARM-based Freescale i.MX6 quad-core processor paired with 1GB Of RAM and 8GB of storage.

Additional specs include Vivante GC2000 quad-core graphics, integrated support for Bluetooth and WiFi, HDMI, USB, and micro USB ports, as well as a microSD card slot.

Essentially, the PC on-a-stick is designed to plug into a TV, allowing users to easily browse the web, stream video content and run apps on a big screen.

As Liliputing’s Brad Linder notes, the Zealz GK802 runs Google Android 4.0 right of the box, but is also capable of running Ubuntu, one of the most popular Linux flavors on the market today.

However, be aware that Ubuntu for the device is still currently in beta, and the company has yet to make it available to the public.
