Chicago (IL) - Originally set to ship in early August, CherryPal’s $250 PC in fact started shipping on election day. However, if your device is not part of a large order, you still have to wait.
Max Seybold, chief executive officer of CherryPal, sent an e-mail to Cherry Pal Brand Angels on and noted that that individuals will have to wait a few more days for their device, since the company had to ship large volume orders from both the United Kingdom and a government organization in Africa first.
Seybold admitted that CherryPal “needed the cash”. He also stated that the company has 25 investors committed to additional funding for the company.
This update comes following a slew of production delays and bumps in the road that led to previous shipment delays of the product.
