Chicago (IL) - CherryPal told TG Daily that its $250 cloud computing PC is seeing additional delays. Originally scheduled to be introduced in early August, CherryPal has hit more road blocks, this time with the graphics hardware. The company will hold off launching the device for a couple more weeks.

Being one of the most interesting new computing devices this year, the CherryPal reportedly has been pre-ordered in substantial numbers. But at least so far, customers are still waiting for their pal to arrive in the mail. Just a few days after the original launch date, the company confirmed that it would delay shipments to upgrade the solid state storage to a faster, higher quality version.

In an update provided by the company, we were told that a “glitch with the graphics processor” was found, which “absolutely needed to be addressed.” I company now believes that it will be shipping the CherryPal within two weeks, but declined to make any “guarantees”.

CherryPal is offering individuals who pre-ordered their PC a refund, if they do not want to wait for the final product.
