5 GHz overclocking attempt at Computex

  • Taipei TAIWAN – Abit and overclocking champion Robert Kihlberg are trying to break the 5 GHz speed barrier on an Intel quad-core chip.  Using a huge tank of liquid nitrogen, Kihlberg is practically dousing the chip in the hopes of ramping up the speeds.  So far, he has hit 4.8 GHz and is trying to find that magic CPU that can reach 5 GHz.
