Monterey (CA) - AMD showed off their upcoming enterprise and consumer-level motherboards and chipsets at a press event in Monterey California.  The boards which sport up to two quad-core processors could give server and data processing centers extra power, but AMD isn’t ready to release any specific performance numbers or specs just yet.  The press is under an NDA, but we’ve been given the go ahead to publish some pics.

The three motherboards are code-named Wahoo, Hammerhead and Seahorse.  Wahoo will have two sockets for up to 8-cores in a sytem, while the Hammerhead and Seahorse will have a single socket.
