You can purchase an EeePC with up to 20 GB NAND flash storage space, but if that isn’t enough, you can always upgrade to a larger drive. And fortunately, SSD drives have come down far enough so you don’t have to be afraid that such an upgrade will break your bank.

Super Talent is offering three flavors of SSD upgrades for the device: 16 GB are available for an expected street price of $53, 32 GB for $79 and a 64 GB option for $149. Of course, you can’t expect performance monsters for these prices. The estimated read/write performance is 40/15 MB/s.  

20 GB EeePCs currently retail for prices between $390 and $550.
