Sandisk-Qimonda joint venture moves handset MCP memory to volume production

  • SanQi, the joint venture between Sandisk and Qimonda, has moved to volume production of its multi-chip package (MCP) memory solutions for handsets in May with design-ins already underway. The company said it is currently holding intensive discussions with Taiwan and US branded handset makers for potential orders.
