Sparkle announces GeForce 8600 GT with “Turbo” button
Sparkle is offering a new version of a GeForce 8600 GT-based graphics card that runs at two different clock speeds for the core, memory and shaders. The default configuration is slightly above the specifications of Nvidia’s reference board with a core clock of 540 MHz, a memory clock of 1440 MHz and a shader clock of 1296 MHz. By pressing a “Turbo” button on the back panel of the card, the core clock increases to 580 MHz, the memory jumps to 1500 MHz and the shaders to 1404 MHz. Pricing of the Calibre P860 Turbo has not been announced.
