Broadcom foresees 65 nm 802.11n WLAN equipment availability by 2008 at the earliest

  • Following the recent announcement of sampling of its first 65nm-made single-chip (BCM4322) to support 802.11n, Michael Hurlston, vice president and general manager of Broadcom's WLAN business division, indicated that BCM4322-powered BCM4322 on September 26 claiming that this new member in its Intensi-fi lineup is able to shrink manufacturing costs by up to 40% due to its high level of integration.
