A-Data: Nothing good about DRAM and NAND flash in 4Q

  • Taipei (Taiwan) - Commenting on the softening price trend as seen in both DRAM and NAND flash markets recently, Simon Chen, chairman at A-Data Technology, said that DRAM pricing has not yet hit bottom while the pricing environment for NAND flash will be even worse during late 2007.

    Given that Taiwan-based DRAM makers have aggressively expanded their capacity and smoothly converted to 70nm, the overall DRAM market is in oversupply, Chen said.
