New Script For X-Files Reunion Made David Duchovny Cry

It’s now all over the street, but The X-Files is coming back next year in a limited series with the original supernatural investigative team of Mulder and Scully, Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny.

Duchovny is very excited about the reunion, and he told Uproxx reading the new script for the series revival has left him in tears, in a good way of course. Once he got the script and read it, he immediately told a reporter, “I started crying reading the first page. It was just so strange to see the names on the page. It was just like, I’d been talking about this for a long time. We’d been planning it for a long time. Two years we’ve been talking about doing it. Now it’s the fun part. Now we actually get to do it.”

As for how he likes the script, Duchovny added, “I can tell you absolutely nothing – and it’s fantastic.”

There should be a good stronghold of fans who will come back for the X-Files reunion, but will there be a new audience ready to watch it and love it as well? Well find out next January when the X-Files finally returns.
